01About OCS
Oman Computing Society is a student-led technology community bringing students together through programming, AI, research, and collaboration.
Built and led by students. Everything we run gives students the people, space, and momentum to build something real.
Organised by students in Oman
Our mission
To connect students across Oman and beyond, providing opportunities to learn, innovate, and collaborate in the rapidly evolving world of technology.

View the model02Programs
Four programs, each built so students leave having made something rather than having watched someone else make it.
Hands-on sessions that introduce students to programming from the ground up, covering Python, C++, and the modern software tooling used in real engineering work.
Machine learning and emerging technology explored through practical AI projects and open technical discussion, so students work with the field rather than only reading about it.
Intensive collaborative problem solving where teams form quickly, scope a real problem, and ship something working under pressure.
Support and space for students to turn their own ideas into practical solutions, from first prototype through to something other people can actually use.
03Events
We bring people in front of students who would not otherwise be in the same room as them. Workshops and webinars include a certificate of attendance.

Past
Six systems local businesses actually pay for in 2026, and building one live.
With AI Founder Hub
AI Agents are rapidly changing the way we interact with technology — but how do they actually work, and what can they really do?
With Uplift Academy
A session on the software systems powering the next generation of aviation. Mr. Fahad Al Riyami, Founder of AeroVecto, explores advanced air mobility, emerging technologies, and the code shaping the future of flight.
With NSRI & AeroVecto
An introduction to building software by describing ideas to AI rather than writing every line by hand. Led by Al Munther, the session explored how AI can help turn ideas into working projects — no prior coding experience required.

05Partners
Collaborations that give our members access to people, problems, and opportunities beyond the campus.
Partnership here means guest speakers, co-hosted sessions, mentorship, and routes into internships — not a logo on a slide.
6 organisations·Joint sessions and guest speakers
Space for more organisations — guest talks, co-hosted events, and student pipelines.
